A Senior Home Coach™ is a highly skilled and compassionate professional dedicated to helping older adults and their families navigate the complexities of aging-in-place or transitioning to a more supportive living environment.
These senior-serving professionals are dedicated as Aging Specialists to the complex decisions related to HOME and Quality of Life. We are highly credentialed, multidisciplinary professionals addressing serious matters related to senior lifestyles. We are in all 50 states and across Canada and we collaborate daily on TheSeniorCall.com.
Uniquely credentialed as a Certified Professional Organizer®, Certified Senior Move Manager®, and Chronic Disorganization Specialist®, I am a founding member of the Senior Home Coach™ movement, and I bring a wealth of expertise and experience to this North American initiative.
As the owner of a full-service senior & specialty downsizing and moving company, I lead a team of Senior Move Managers®, Professional Organizers, and Relocation Specialists that excels in all aspects of assisting older adults with the place they call home. They are trained to:
DOWNSIZE WITH SENSITIVITY:
Help seniors declutter and prioritize belongings in a way that respects their memories and values, while making their homes safer and more manageable. With a compassionate, organized approach, our services are tailored to seniors and families. They include downsizing, packing, estate clearing, and organizing new spaces.
By focusing on preserving dignity and creating trust, Organized Haven ensures the process respects the sentimental value of personal belongings. We offer detailed planning, such as customized floor plans, coordinated moves, handling donations, and creating clutter-free, safe living environments.
These services aim to reduce the stress often associated with downsizing while fostering a smooth transition to a new home.
Additionally, we assist with unique challenges, such as working with seniors living with dementia, by incorporating patience and positivity into every step of the process.
STREAMLINE TRANSITIONS:
Whether the move is to a smaller home, assisted living, or a family member’s residence, the Senior Home Coach™ ensures a seamless, stress-free process from start to finish. A one-stop-shop, their is no need to call anyone else for the move.
Our Certified Senior Move Managers® and Relocation Specialists provide comprehensive services designed to alleviate the stress of moving. From planning and decluttering to packing, moving, and setting up the new home, our team handles every aspect of the process in guiding the journey home.
We start with an assessment to customize our approach, helping clients decide what to keep, donate, or sell. On moving day, not only do we transport your belongings, but we also unpack and organize the new space. Our goal is to create a comfortable and functional home immediately.
Additional services include estate sales, where we facilitate online auctions for downsized items, and donate or dispose of unneeded belongs responsibly.
PACK AND UNPACK WITH CARE:
Our team is experienced in meticulous packing, unpacking, and setting up new spaces to feel like home, all while handling items with care and compassion. We carefully pack belongings with precision, labeling each box to ensure seamless unpacking.
Our approach minimizes move-day chaos by offering services such as decluttering, organizing essentials, and setting up spaces efficiently in our client’s new homes, as soon as move day is complete. We are able to do this because we Pack With the Unpack in Mind™, ensuring there is enough room for all of the things our clients want to bring with them to their new homes.
We call this Rightsizing Your Senior Move, which you can learn more about here.

With specialized training, we work patiently with individuals experiencing dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other cognitive impairments, tailoring our approach to meet unique needs.
We focus on safety and function when creating spaces that support memory and independence for the senior who is aging-in-place or downsizing and moving.
