About the Organized Haven Team, Goals and Values

Organized Haven was founded in 2013 by Polk County’s first Professional Organizer, Nicole Ramer, when she experienced the overwhelming transition of having her first child. While living in a small home and working 50-60 hours per week with a long daily commute, she faced the challenge of having enough time and space to stay organized and clutter-free. The company started with the intention of helping others organize through all of life’s transitions, but evolved to specialize in helping seniors and busy professionals downsize and move. Now a full-service moving, downsizing and estate clearing company, Organized Haven employs a team of Professional Organizers, Senior Move Managers® and Relocation Specialists/Movers.

As the founding member of Organized Haven, Nicole has managed hundreds of moving, downsizing and estate projects. She is a NAPO Specialist in Residential Organizing, Life Transitions, Workplace Productivity and Team Productivity. She is a Certified Professional Organizer®, a Certified Senior Move Manager® and a NASMM@HOME Specialist. She loves working with her team to help our clients!

CERTIFIED SENIOR MOVE MANAGER®

As Nicole’s husband and business partner, Danny has been an important member of the team since the beginning. He too has managed hundreds of moving, downsizing and estate projects and is a Certified Senior Move Manager®. Our clients don’t usually see Danny until sorting, packing, moving, or estate sale pickup day, but he still has a way of making them feel like they’ve known him forever!

PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZER & SENIOR MOVE MANAGER®

Dee has been an integral member of Organized Haven since 2016! She has managed our client’s moving, downsizing and estate projects both in the field and from the office as our Client Services Manager. This well-rounded experience gave her the knowledge and resources she needed to build our operations manual which ultimately led to our achievement of NASMMs A+ Accreditation. She is a NAPO Specialist in Residential Organizing and our clients love how much she puts them at ease from the very first phone call.

PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZER & SENIOR MOVE MANAGER®

Elaine joined the Organized Haven team in March 2018. She has an innate ability to create functional and beautiful spaces for our clients who are downsizing & moving, and has been our Space Planner since the beginning. She is a NAPO Specialist in Life Transitions, Residential Organizing, Team Productivity and Household Management. Our clients work with Elaine in the creation of their space plans and the organized setup of their new homes. She often leads the team on move day and she serves as our resident MaxSold downsizing specialist, educating our team on proper setup and cataloging of our client’s online estate sales.

PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZER & SENIOR MOVE MANAGER®

Karen joined the Organized Haven team in November 2020 with a background in education. She is highly organized and was promoted to Project Manager quickly upon discovering her talents in keeping our client’s projects on track with compassion, empathy and organization. She is a team player and exhibits an extraordinary positive and professional attitude. She is a NAPO Specialist in Brain-Based Conditions and is focused on continuing her education and advancing her knowledge of industry best-practices.

RELOCATION SPECIALIST & LEAD MOVER

Jeff joined the Organized Haven team in 2021 after we added moving services to our senior move management company. Jeff’s relationship with our team first began in 2016, however, when he was our first mover when we added senior move management services to our professional organizing and downsizing business! There is no one we trust more to drive our truck and transport our client’s household goods with the care and attention they deserve.

Barb joined our team in 2021 as an Organizing Assistant with 9 years of prior experience in moving and downsizing! She loves working with people to make great decisions when downsizing and getting organized as it comes naturally to her. The positive feedback she and the rest of our team receives from our clients tell her every day that she found the right job for her when she wasn’t even looking for one! We appreciate her for her skills and abilities and for the care she puts into what she does!
